"It's not four years, it's for life."

Pacific Western Region #44

AZA/BBG

"Aleph Zadik Aleph (AZA) and the B’nai B’rith Girls (BBG) are a fraternity and sorority for Jewish teens—together, we are BBYO. Since our founding in 1924 (AZA) and 1944 (BBG), we have been member-led. Our priorities and programs reflect the interests and issues that matter most to us."

For many of us, our families are BBYO. BBG our sisterhood, and AZA our brotherhood.

Programming

Programming is the backbone of AZA and BBG. It brings us together and is essential to growing our Movement around the world. Programs should inspire ideas a connection, action, a new way of thinking, and desire for continued BBYO experiences.

Programming is what YOU make it as the leader.

Events

Though you may think of events as your average Shabbat night, or RCP. Events can be SO much more than that!

Events should be highly visible and well-thought out programs!

Your goal for every event should be for it to be a good reminder that  every member and chapter is part of something bigger than themselves.

ABOUT US

Hi there! Julia Sisko and Jake Nilan here, we're Pacific Western Region's Regional S'ganim (Vice Presidents), and we're so excited to bring this Program Bank to the region!

One of our main responsibilities is to encourage PWR to hold amazing programs and plan unique events! Members can do this by using the 6 BBG folds, or the 5 AZA folds. We strongly believe that the key to any successful program or event is well thought out programming. We hope for this website to be a tool for any BBG or Aleph to find resources or help in elevating their programming.

If you ever need any help or advice when planning an event, please feel free to reach out to us at our emails below!

Sincerely, Jake Nilan and Julia Sisko, your 9th Regional S'ganim.
